FAQs.
Is the system legal to use?
The use of CS gas systems for automatic intrusion defense is legal in Germany — the FURIE X750 Set is BKA-approved (§17r) and TÜV Nord certified. As operators, you are legally protected as long as the system is used exclusively for object security and is properly installed. For questions regarding the specific legal situation in your federal state, we would be happy to advise you personally.
Is the product tested or certified?
Yes, the FURIE x750 is BKA-tested (§17r) and TÜV Nord certified.
How does the tear gas system work in an emergency?
When unauthorized access is detected, every second counts.
While traditional systems only report an intrusion, FURIE Defence activates immediately – automatically or manually.
The released irritant gas disorients the perpetrator and forces them to flee immediately.
👉 This way, the intrusion is not only detected, but directly stopped before major damage occurs.
How does the FURIE DEFENCE System differ from other defense systems?
Traditional alarm systems only report a break-in once the perpetrator is already inside the building. At that very moment, they have time to move freely, pack up valuables, and cause damage.
FURIE Defence goes a step further:
The system actively intervenes and stops intruders immediately – before any damage can occur.
What happens legally if a burglar is injured by the gas?
The principle of self-inflicted danger legally protects the operator. In addition, tear gas systems can be used legally if they are professionally planned, technically controlled, operated, and used exclusively to repel a burglary.
Who is Furie Defence suitable for?
Wherever assets need to be protected and a break-in would have serious consequences.
Because companies, warehouses, and shops are often targeted – with a high risk of theft, damage, and downtime.
FURIE Defence is ideal for businesses, warehouses, offices, retail, and demanding private properties where active protection is crucial.
Can Furie Defence be combined with existing security systems?
Yes – and that is precisely the biggest advantage.
Because traditional systems only report when it's already too late.
FURIE Defence perfectly complements existing alarm systems with an active protection component and intervenes precisely when it matters most.
This is how pure monitoring becomes real protection!
Do I need to register or have the system approved?
No. Irritant gas systems must be used in enclosed spaces, be permanently installed, and the upstream electronic alarm system must have a suitable remote alarm function. The FURIE X750 Set meets these requirements. Furthermore, official registration or approval is usually not necessary.
Is the gas harmful to humans or animals that are in the room afterward?
No. The concentration of gas emitted is not harmful to health, but it significantly impairs the intruder's ability to act and forces them to flee. After activation, the room can be fully re-entered within 10–15 minutes by simply ventilating it – with no residues left on furniture, walls, or goods.
Does my insurance still apply with the system?
Yes. The FURIE X750 Set is an add-on to existing alarm systems – it does not replace them, but rather expands them with an active defense component. Since it is BKA-tested and TÜV-certified, there is no reason for an insurance exclusion. We still recommend briefly informing your insurer – some insurers even offer discounts for active protection systems.
May I install the system in rental properties?
This depends on the rental agreement and the type of installation. Since the FURIE X750 Set is mounted with screws and does not require any structural modifications, it is generally classified as a "non-structural measure." We still recommend a brief consultation with your landlord—in most cases, approval is easily obtained.
How long does a cartridge last and what does maintenance cost?
A cartridge lasts for 3-5 uses and should be serviced every 2 years. Replacement cartridges are available directly from us. Regular maintenance ensures that the system functions reliably in an emergency.
